The Future of College Sports

FORUM RECAP:

In the lead up to the Supreme Court’s decision on NCAA v. Alston and the sweeping NCAA and state law changes to college athlete name, image, and likeness, The University of Washington Center for Leadership in Athletics, Gonzaga University School of Law Center for Law, Ethics & Commerce, and Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics presented “The Future of College Sports: Examining Legal Issues Today for the Leadership of College Sports Tomorrow.

This forum brought experts from sports law, athletic administrators, and college leaders to prepare for this quickly changing landscape in college sports.

The forum included keynotes from Michael McCann and Ramgoi Huma and featured panels on topics on legal perspectives to understand these changes, practical approaches for how to prepare, and where the future of college sports.
