UW Center for Leadership in Athletics

Undergraduate Research Opportunity at the University of Washington

Our research study looks at the role of EA Sports College Football 25, and its role on college campuses. Football grounds many college campuses, communities, athletes, and fans in college life, and can create a sense of belonging or barriers to belonging for students, athletes, and community members. We look at the recently re-released game by Electronic Arts to explore the role of this video game on students, students’ relationships to college football, and a sense of belonging or community.
