Sara serves as Director of Academic Programs for the Center for Leadership in Athletics. Bringing an extensive background in sports administration and education, her role in the Center is overall management for the growing portfolio of activities and the development of new professional development initiatives. In the IAL program she teaches Foundations of Leadership in Intercollegiate Athletics and supervises the internship requirement. Sara completed her doctoral degree at the University of Washington’s College of Education with a research focus on the professional preparation and continuing education of intercollegiate athletic coaches.
