Regena, a Ph.D. candidate at UW’s College of Education, focuses on athletics, leadership, and educational policy. At the Center, she works with Dr. Jennifer Hoffman, supporting undergraduate courses and research on issues related to athletics and leadership in higher education, particularly focusing on esports, gender, and the collegiate environment. Regena holds a B.S. in Media Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, an M.A. in Film Studies from the University of Southern California, and an M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico.
