Marsa supports Play Equity research initiatives at the Center and teaches in the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership and Leadership in Higher Education M.Ed. programs. Her research integrates female athlete physiology, health literacy, and coaching, with a focus on helping coaches translate learning into practice. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Western Washington University, an M.S. in Exercise and Sport Studies from Smith College, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Washington.
