As Co-Director of the UW Center for Leadership in Athletics, Julie plays a crucial role in bridging research and practice, as well as developing curriculum for coaches and administrators. Her academic responsibilities include teaching in the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership (IAL) M.Ed. program and undergraduate courses at the UW College of Education. Julie has served as the principal investigator for several key projects, including Ambitious Coaching and State of Play: Seattle-King County. She holds an undergraduate degree from Georgetown, a master’s from Harvard, and a Ph.D. from UW.
