Centering the Female Athlete Voice in a Sports Science Research Agenda

Dr. Julie McCleery and Dr. Longxi Li from UW’s Center for Leadership in Athletics, along with researchers from Stanford University, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, led the first study to co-create a research agenda with Team USA elite female athletes. Their work lays the groundwork for future research and offers key insights into female athletes’ unique needs.
