Only 22% of boys and 16% of girls in King County are meeting the CDC's physical activity recommendations


The King County Play Equity Coalition is in its formative stages and welcomes inquiries and participation from a broad range of physical activity and youth-related programs and organizations including:

The King County Play Equity Coalition meets monthly and will be using the findings and recommendations of the State of Play: Seattle-King County report to guide a collective action process.

The goal of the King County Play Equity Coalition is to increase the rate of King County youth meeting the CDC’s physical activity guidelines through policies, programs, research and information-sharing so that all youth have access to the benefits of movement on mental, emotional and physical well-being.
